To Our Governing Officials,

For Our Rights has verified authenticity of two separate communications regarding probable restrictions to be imposed on the people of Hawaii who would refuse the COVID-19 vaccine. The communications are as follows:

On July 15, 2020 a concerned citizen sent an email communication to the Department of Health in which the following question was posed, “if a vaccine becomes available will it be required of all citizens of Hawaii and those traveling to Hawaii? Will we be forced to vaccinate in order to buy or sell and even travel?” The Department of Health responded on July 27, 2020, “In normal times, vaccination may be voluntary but given the concerns about spread of disease and outcomes, those who aren’t vaccinated may have restrictions to protect others in the community.” A follow up email was sent to the DOH asking what the restrictions would be, but no response was ever received.
On August 14, 2020 another concerned citizen sent a text message to Lt. Governor Josh Green and asked if the COVID-19 vaccine would be voluntary or mandatory, to which the Lt. Governor replied “Voluntary”. The citizen then pressed further and asked, “will there be restrictions for those who choose not to vaccinate. The Department of Health said there would be” To which the Lt. Governor replied, “Yes, probably”. The citizen then asked if the Lt. Governor could elaborate on what the restrictions would be and the Lt. Governor replied, “can’t DOH will have to.”
After these communications, For Our Rights reached out to both the Department of Health and the Lt. Governor for details on what the restrictions could be, but has received no response from either. Given this information, we believe it is clear that the restrictions should be construed as a threat of coercion and an act of medical tyranny devoid of informed consent. And, the COVID-19 vaccine being fast tracked via operation “warp speed” would be the equivalent of a medical experiment therefore requiring (under the Nuremberg code) that the population be granted the right to informed consent. Whereas Informed Consent is defined as, “Consent by a person to undergo a medical procedure, participate in a clinical trial, or be counseled by a professional such as a social worker or lawyer, after receiving all material information regarding risks, benefits, and alternatives.”

We, the undersigned, demand our right to informed consent, demand our right to religious exemptions, and vehemently oppose any restrictions that may be imposed on any person refusing the COVID19 vaccine, such as, but not limited to, a condition for returning to work, maintaining/obtaining employment, attending school or childcare, traveling into or out of the state, accessing state services, or participating in economic functions.
